The Piano Technicians Guild is the leading international organization for the betterment and education of piano tuners and piano technicians throughout the world. They continuously run conventions, both regionally and nationally in the USA. The conventions feature classes for learning for new and established technicians in all phases of the piano industry. There are also displays of the products, tools, education materials, etc. that are wonderful for the piano technicians. Anyone interested in pianos will find a wealth of information here. Dampp-Chaser, the leading manufacturer of Humidity Control Systems for pianos. Their systems are wonderful, they work, and they also care very much about their customers.
Mason & Hamlin Pianos
Mason & Hamlin pianos are some of the finest pianos made in the world. They are owned by PianoDisc (see below), and have made some really classic pianos, both in sound and construction. They are known for their patented "tension resonator" system, which helps keep the body of the piano stay the way it was made. There is very little shape change in a Mason & Hamlin piano.
