Dampp-Chaser Piano Lifesaver

The Dampp-Chaser Piano Lifesaver is a system to help maintain the structural integrity of your instrument, which, in turn:

• helps give the piano better performance capabilities through being stable by controlling humidity changes in the piano's environment,
• helps tunings to stay more consistent,
• maintains a cleaner piano to stop possible allergic reactions to mold and mildew due to excessive humidity, and
• prevents parts of the piano from having major structural defects for years.

Systems are available for vertical pianos and grand pianos, as well as pianos with computer players.

Tuning Service Contracts

RGPT offers Multi-Tuning Service Contracts with your choice of:

• 2 Tuning contract
• 3 Tuning contract
• 4 Tuning contract
• Custom Amount Tuning contract

The 2 tuning contract is designed for a typical residential customer wanting to maintain their piano, keeping it tuned with a strong degree of stability. Additionally, the benefit of discounts for services and most products that RGPT offers saves expense in the care of the piano. Contracts offer a $10.00 discount from the prevailing price for tuning with the contracted price guaranteed for the 12 month period. Further, there is also a "Time Response Guaranty" assuring Contract Customers if there is a problem with their covered piano, and if RGPT can not get to the piano within 3 business days from the time notification was received by RGPT by telephone or e-mail, an additional 5% discount for any non-warranty services. For those with warranty, there will be a 5% discount off the next scheduled tuning or product of the Contract Customer's choice.

The 3 tuning contract is designed for those with a player system installed, with or without a speaker system. This contract offers an $11.00 discount per tuning as well as the same 10% discount off all services and most products.

The 4 tuning contract is the same with a $12.50 discount off regular tuning rates for the tuning area of the customer. 4 Tuning Service Contracts are designed for pianos in a public area such as religious, restaurant, theater, schools, hotels and other public performance areas.

Items not included in discounts are:

• New or Used pianos (discounted in advance)

All contracts require payment in advance of the tunings. For example, a 2 Tuning Service Contract will pay for the 2 tunings in advance. The contract calls for 2 tunings in the 12 month period ending on the anniversary of the contract date. Typically, the 1st tuning is completed at the time of payment. Other times, customers who send their payments in advance will have their 1st tuning scheduled at a mutually convenient time for customer and RGPT. All contracts are effective for 12 months, and are renewable at customer option.

Custom Tuning Service Contracts are negotiated with piano owner, and pricing will be determined at that time.

All contract terms are subject to change for future renewals, but the current contract will always stay as agreed.

All trips to a customer's location are subject to a fuel surcharge. The charge is a non-taxable reimbursement of the excess of cost of fuel over $3.25/gallon for 87 octane. Surcharges are calculated according to the distance traveled. Whenever the average price is less than $3.25/gallon, no fuel surcharge will be in effect.

Computer Players

We offer sales, installation, and service of QRS Music Pianomation computer player systems and PianoDisc Computer Player Systems.

Player pianos, in some instances, can also be made into recording instruments, and MIDI controllers, as well as unique sound systems for your home with RF (radio frequency) remote control as well as other customer features.

Three of the most popular players are from QRS (Petine CD and CD 2000+) and from PianoDisc (PianoCD). These systems are the least costly and have great performance records.

Petine CD, PianoDisc 228 C/F/X and Opus 7 can play and record the piano, use CD and other media, and are excellent units to start a player/record system for your piano. Recording option requires a record strip and other devices, which add additional costs.
